Kihyun Han is a Ph.D. candidate in Statistics at Pennsylvania State University, advised by Dr. Yanyuan Ma. He received his B.S. in Mathematical Sciences and Statistics (double major) from Seoul National University in 2022.

His research is primarily methodological, developing semiparametric and nonparametric methods for inference when a covariate is right-censored, as well as predictive inference and robustness under distribution shift. He is also interested in applications to biomedical studies and to the social sciences, including political science and economics. His current applied work centers on Huntington disease studies, in ongoing collaboration with Dr. Tanya P. Garcia.
